Field connectivity assessment

Deploy with evidence.
Connect with confidence.

Coverage maps leave gaps. VeldLink measures cellular conditions where your connected device will operate, helping you understand whether the location is suitable and what may need to change. We handle the survey so you can focus on the installation.

The problem

Coverage on a map. Uncertainty on site.

Carrier coverage maps don’t tell you whether your device will connect at its installation point. More detailed maps can be costly and still leave you working with estimates. Surveying sites yourself takes equipment, expertise, and time.

Neither a coverage map nor a phone signal can validate your IoT deployment.

Each colored block represents an area estimate. It cannot tell you whether your device will connect inside this building or cabinet.

The solution

A logger you leave on site. A report that tells you what to do next.

We measure conditions at your installation point and assess what they mean for your device. Get advice on where to install it and what may need to change.

  1. 01

    Site survey

A survey unit goes at the location where your device needs to work.

  2. 02

    Signal capture

We record cellular signal and network conditions at that point.

  3. 03

    Device assessment

We assess those conditions against your device’s connectivity requirements.

  4. 04

    Deployment guidance

Understand whether to install here, move the device, or consider an antenna change.

The output

A report your installer can read on-site.

It shows the same numbers a network engineer would want, laid out for whoever is standing at the mount point deciding where to drill.

Questions

Before you request a pilot

People who install, use, or manage cellular-connected devices, including contractors, installers, operators, and manufacturers. You might be fitting a device for a customer or using equipment to do your own work. We help assess connectivity at the location where it needs to operate, whether that’s a building, remote site, city, railway, or tunnel.
